Meribel Valley - The Resorts
Meribel Valley Overview
Meribel is the heart of the Three Valleys, as the most central of all the Three Valleys, and the prettiest of all the resorts by far. Offering fantastic skiing & snowboarding for all levels of ability and a huge range of non-skiing activities too, Méribel is perfect for groups of families and friends alike.
Meribel has over 150km of pistes, and plenty of backcountry & off-piste skiing to keep skiers of all abilities happy. With extensive investment in snow cannons covering 65% of the ski area, you are guaranteed fantastic snow conditions. The Three Valleys society guarantees to have the most open runs in Europe, and if they do not, they will refund any unused day on your ski pass. So you can be confident that there will be more than enough snow for you to enjoy! Being right in the centre of the Three Valleys, it has fantastic access to the whole of the Three Valleys; with one lift to Courchevel, or three to Val Thorens.
Meribel Mottaret is the highest point of the Meribel Valley, at 1750m. As such, it is the most central point of the Three Valleys and gives you really easy access to other resorts. If you’re a keen skier, or looking to get the most out of your ski pass, then this is the perfect place for you to stay. Its centrality offers you great access to the Three Valleys, with only one lift to Courchevel, or two to Val Thorens. Not only that, access to the Chaudanne in Meribel Centre is also made easy by the Trout Piste, or the free resort bus service. Mottaret's compact size means it is great for families, as most facilities including ski schools are easily accessed on foot.

Favourite restaurants: Chez Bif (better known as mountain burger) for the best burger you’ve ever eaten as a quick lunch stop!
