The Heart of the Three Valleys boasts beautiful pinewood scenery, a chocolate-box feel, but also where traditional Alpine charm mixes seamlessly with a vibrant and varied night-life. Meribel Centre itself is home to a wealth of shops, bars, restaurants, night clubs and cafes.

Meribel Centre encompasses not only the buzz area of shops, restaurants and bars next to La Chaudanne, but the area up to Meribel Morel 1600, Le Belvedere and the Altiport. Meribel Morel lies on Route de Morel, on the road up to the Altiport. It has its own shops and restaurants and is only a 2 minute bus journey to the main centre of Meribel. Le Rond Point, most famous for the Ronnie apres-bar, is its own area slightly further up. Le Belvedere is a specific area at the top of the resort built for the 1992 Olympic games, offering luxury chalets and apartments on the slopes. The Altiport area is at 1700m, set in a protected forest and right on the slopes.

The main hub of lifts, La Chaudanne, is in the centre of Meribel and right next to the bus stop. From here, you can get to Courchevel, Mottaret and the altiport in one lift. If you’re staying further up, there is also a ski lift directly from Meribel morel 1600, and you can ski straight on to the piste from Belvedere, Le Rond Point and the Altiport.

Lift passes: There is a lift pass office by the Tougnete lift at La Chaudanne, as well as another lift pass office at Le Rond Point area and in the Altiport area.
