Walking in Meribel
Even if you can’t or don’t want to ski, you can still see experience what the mountains have to offer by buying a pedestrian ski lift pass. 1 journey costs €10 whilst a 6-day pass goes up to €75.50.
There are also plenty of scenic routes to take to enjoy the Meribel Valley, with 25km of groomed walking paths available.
Mottaret also has a nature reserve in which no skiers are allowed around Lac Tueda which makes for the perfect spot for an easy family walk. When the weather is good, there is parking available next to the lake, or you can get the bus straight to Le Chatelet area of Mottaret.
