Getting the Train to Meribel
You can get the train to Moutiers, the town at the bottom of the Three Valleys, to travel to Meribel.
 
The Eurostar offers a snow train service to go straight from London St Pancras, or, you can get the train from Geneva or another airport. 
Getting the Eurostar straight to Moutiers
 
You can now get the Eurostar snow train direct from London st Pancras and Ashford International to Moutiers (or Moutiers-Salins) for an effortless journey straight to the Alps.
 
There are no restrictions on baggage, you can choose a train overnight and get a good night’s rest to arrive early to the Alps. The service runs every Friday and Saturday. It takes around 9 hours on the train and costs around £100-200.
 
If you are concerned about your carbon footprint, travelling by train to the Alps is certainly the greenest way to go.

Getting the train from the airport to Meribel
 
If you have chosen to fly to one of the nearby airports, rather than getting a transfer, you can get the train to Moutiers.

*There is no direct service from Chambery or Grenoble airport so you would be required to get one of the regular shuttles from the airport to the train station. From Grenoble airport this is €4.
Getting a bus or taxi from Moutiers to Meribel
 
Once you arrive in Moutiers, you will either need to get a taxi or the bus into Meribel, which is around a half an hour drive in good conditions.
