Don’t let worry over the snow conditions stop you
Uncertainty over snow conditions often stops people from booking early. However, the vast majority of skiing in the Three Valley's is done above 1800m, and so ski conditions are typically good regardless of where you stay. With the help of 2,497 snow cannons covering 50% of the ski area, the pistes can remain open even if the weather is not in our favour. Staying in the Three Valleys offers you access to seven different ski resorts, and so there are always plenty of slopes to choose from. One of these resorts being the highest ski resorts in Europe at 2300m, Val Thorens typically always offers very good snow conditions. In fact, the Three Valleys Society guarantees to have the largest number of open connected runs in Europe, and if any European resort has more connected runs open, they promise to refund any unused day on your ski pass.
